Benefit RSVP

Hi guys! :)
There's a chance that if you've read some of my previous posts that you've seen this product. And if that's true, you may know of my obsession with it. If you don't, let me just say this product is honestly, AMAZING. Did you hear me? AH-MAY-ZING! Yeah. That good.
Ok, story time! So I did my make up in the morning using this and just some liquid eyeliner, and I was feeling lazy that night before I showered so I didn't take it off and when I got out of the shower my eye makeup still looked like perfection. So after my shower, I was tired and blah blah blah, I didn't take off my eye makeup before I went to bed... Bad, I know. But then when I woke up the next morning my eye makeup still looked perfect! Say what?! Yeah, it's that good.
So now you know that the staying power is like, insane.
Alright, if you guys haven't seen this product yet, go to your nearest Sephora/Benefit Counter/Ulta and just open the jar, and smell it. Yup, you just read that right. Smell it. Breathe that good smell in! Am I the only one that thinks it smells like vanilla cake batter?... YUM! I mean yeah, it's not a natural cake batter scent but it's still like wow, you stay on my eyes for days and smell like I could eat you. Talk about a bonus!
I'm going to stop rambling now. I think you get that I love this product. The final thoughts- Stays for days, smells like sugary bad for you food, and is a gorgeous color!
Sarah say's- Go get this girl!

Do you like Benefits Creaseless Cream Shadows? Have you tried RSVP? Do you know of any other colors I should try? Let me know!

Have a beautiful day!:)

Benefit Dandelion Review

Hi hi guys! :)
So lately I've been kind of obsessed with this blush! Seriously. So pretty!
As you can tell from the pictures, it's really, really light. But that works for me because I'm basically the color of glue!
Sephora Description-

Fake awake with Dandelion - Benefit's ballerina-pink pressed highlighting powder. Just one stroke of Dandelion takes your complexion from dull to radiant in an instant. It's shimmery, satiny, radiant, perk-me-up finish is guaranteed to make them wonder ..."How do you look so pretty at eight in the morning?"

Uses-
Sephora says that you can use this powder as an all over highlighting powder. I'm not a fan of the disco ball look, but I haven't tried it like that so I mean it could be super duper pretty and I'll just never know! Like I said earlier, you can use this as a blush for a subtle flush. And you could probably use it as a cheekbone highlighter.
Thoughts-
Personally, I would not recommend this if your tan or have darker skin. I just don't think that you would even be able to see it. Obviously, I'm not using this blush to give me a high impact color on my cheeks, I just love the light pink glowy-flush it gives me! Literally, so gorgeous.
Price-
$28 on Sephora.com
Final Say-
Buy it! :) If you're looking for a product to give you a gorgeous natural glow, this is it!
Dislaimer- All products mentioned were purchased with my own money.

Love & Beauty Cream Blush Review

Confession? I saw this blush on Forever21.com and saw that it was only $2.80 and I had to get it! I mean come on, that's such a good deal! And I am so glad that I got it! This is currently my everyday blush and it is so gorgeous! It gives you that perfect pink flush, like if you had just been out in the cold. And it looks so natural because it's not a powder so you don't look cakey or 'powdery'. Unfortunately, it is not available on their website right now, but from what I've heard that happens frequently, and (fingers crossed) it should be back in stock soon. When it is, you will see that pretty much everyone who has tried this loves it! (I can see why). They also make this in a peach shade, but it wasn't in stock when I placed my order, but I have definitely been keeping my eye out for that one.

If you do end up getting this, don't be deceived, it looks like it's relatively matte, so no sparkle or shimmer. WRONG! I just noticed this a few days ago but there are chunks of silver glitter in it!...what?!?! I know, I know. Who wants big silver sparkly chunks of stuff on their face when they were trying to go for a more natural makeup look. Well, no fear. In the swatches you can see the glitter, sort of... But I have stared at my face in every sort of light in all sorts of uncomfortable angles and I have yet to find a noticeable chunk of glitter on my face! Hooray! I'm not quite sure where exactly it runs off too, but hey, I'm not questioning it!
I always apply this with either a stippling brush or a huge fluffy brush (technical, I know :) ). I tried it with my fingers once and it... it seemed to be too heavy of an application. So, I recommend using brushes! Another bonus, it blends beautifully, and lasts really well (score!).
Enjoy the swatches! Let me know what you think of the color, and if you have tried it, do you love it too?

P.S.
Sorry that the texture looks sort of... sketchy, it's only like that because I apply it with brushes! But you can see how creamy it normally looks where I swiped my finger through it! :)

Love & Beauty Illuminating Cream Shadow Review

With Flash

No Flash
Pros:

  • Inexpensive
  • Great pigmentation
  • Creamy/ easy to use
Cons:
  • Cheap packaging (That's what you get for $1.80)
  • Creases even with UDPP
On Forever21's website they listed this color as taupe, and it looks like taupe in the package, but once applied it turns into a more bronzey color. Which, I actually don't mind because I think it is beautiful! While the pretty pink package is cute, it just feels extremely cheap. The first time I screwed the lid back on I thought I was going to break it! But honestly, that's what happens when you spend practically nothing on a makeup product! Overall, I like this product. I will try to incorporate it into some of my upcoming looks so you guys can see it in action!
Unfortunately, it is not for sale on Forever21.com right now - sorry guys! But if I see it on there again, I'll inform you and give you the link! :)
Till next time! <3

Clinique Color Surge Eye Shadow Quad Review

Hello, hello!
Today, I'm featuring my current favorite eye shadow palette and the look I create almost every day with it! Unfortunately, I don't know if you can buy this palette because, I am pretty sure that it was a gift with purchase. But! If I am not mistaken you can buy all of these eye shadows separately!

Products used for this look:

    • Urban Decay Primer Potion
    • Clinique's Color Surge Eye Shadow Quad
      • Daybreak "super shimmer" & "single shade from totally neutral trio"
    • Urban Decay Super Curl Mascara
    • Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara
    • Any shimmery white eyeshadow
The colors in the quad, (Left to Right)

    • Matte cream color
      • Single shade from teddy bear quad
    • Shimmery golden color - Dupe for Stila Kitten! (post comparing them coming soon)
      • Daybreak super shimmer
    • A dark taupey brown with a hint of shimmer
      • Single shade from totally neutral trio
    • A light grey brown with a satin finish
      • Single shade from totally neutral trio
    How to achieve this look-
    1. Primer your eyes with Urban Decays Primer Potion (or any colorless eye primer)
    2. Take "Daybreak" and apply a wash of color all over your lid
    3. Take the darkest brown on an eyeliner brush and smudge it into your lash line, for this I like to use the brush that came with the Clinique Black Honey eyeliner
    4. Take your favorite mascara and apply as many coats as your normally do, I like to use Urban Decay's Supercurl Mascara and then go over it with the waterproof Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes mascara.
    5. Finally, if you think your eyes need to look a little bit more awake take a white shimmery eye shadow and place it just beneath your brow bone and on the inner corner of you eye!
Your done! It is really that simple! Honestly, this is my go to look right now. I love it! If I can find dupes for any or all of the shades in this quad I will post them so if you want you can recreate this look! It super simple, but I think it looks amazing!

    Have a great day! :)
