  • Stila eyeshadow in Mink ( from the Make An Impression in Moscow palette)
  • Loreal Lineur Intense in Black
  • Buxom mascara in Blackest Black
  • Loreal Voluminous in Carbon Black
How To:
  1. Apply one 'coat' of RSVP all over your lid, wait for it to 'dry' and apply a second 'coat' to make it more opaque.
  2. Take Mink on a small crease brush and apply it.
  3. Take a fluffy blending brush and blend out any harsh lines that might be there.
  4. Line your eyes with your favorite liquid liner.
  5. Apply your favorite mascara and your done!
Not gonna lie right now, this has been one of my favorite looks to do for probably the past 2 weeks. It's like the perfect amount of smoky! Let me know if you like this. Also, do you want me to do a look using the Make An Impression In Moscow palette? I also have the Pretty In Paris palette (love)! Let me know :)

Fun Liner- Silver

Hey guys!
So this is the first post in my new series! :) I'm actually really excited about it! This entire series is going to be dedicated to 'fun liner'. I think bright, bold colors are super hot  for spring and summer, so I'll be testing out some new shades, and brands and letting you guys know what I think of them. And, my favorite ways to wear them. I hope you guys like it! :)

Products Used:

  • Benefit Boi-ing Concealer in 01
  • Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Silver Dollar
  • Loreal HIP Color Truth Cream Liner in 905 Black with a MAC 210 liner brush
  • Buxom mascara in Blackest Black
  • Loreal Voluminous in Carbon Black
How To:
  1. Use your favorite concealer to cancel out any discoloration on your lids. You don't need an eye primer because were not going to be using any shadow.
  2. Take the Stila Smudge Stick and line your upper lashes, you can wing it out if you like. Apply as much as you want!
  3. Take a black gel liner and line really really close to your lash line, just to give your eyes some more definition
  4. Apply your favorite mascara and then your done!
This is again, a super simple look but I really like it for days when I don't want to put a ton of effort into my makeup. I feel like this just makes your eyes look really awake!
Know of any colors you think I should test out? Leave them in the comments! :)
Have a beautiful day! <3

Stila The It Girl Palette - Two Color Tutorial

The finished look!
Prime your eyes and then place Kitten all over your lid
Take Americano on a flat shader brush and place it in your crease. Yup, it looks funky!
Ready. Set. BLEND!

Yay for blending! :)

Take Kitten on the flat shader brush and just place it along your lash line to make yourself look more awake.

Oh, hello awake eyes!

Take Americano on an angled liner brush and line those peepers!

Add some mascara to those lashes and you're golden!

Products Used:

  • NARS Pro Prime
  • Stila's The It Girl Palette
    • Kitten & Americano
  • Buxom's Buxom Lash in Blackest Black and Loreal Volumious Mascara
Yup! That's it! It's really super simple. This is one of the looks I do when I wake up late and I really shouldn't even have time to put makeup on. I think the thing that makes it so super quick is that you really don't have to be careful with the shadows. I mean, you basically slap Americano into your crease and then blend it until it's beautiful. Easy peasy!
Ok guys, I have bad news... This palette is no longer available at Sephora </3. But don't worry - I've found a solution to our little problem! Ebay! ....What? Buying cosmetics on Ebay? Yes guys! You can get this exact palette by clicking here (it will take you to a list of all the listings of this). If you want I can do a post about buying cosmetics on Ebay and what to be aware of. I've done it before and if you know what to look for, you're not going to end up with fake cosmetics.
Let me know if you prefer this type of tutorial over just having pictures of the final look and then me writing out the steps.
Have a wonderful day! :)
Talk to you soon<3

Dupes for Stila's Kitten

As you may recall from an earlier post of mine, I said that I thought that Clinique's Daybreak was a dupe for Stila's Kitten. Well I also have 2 other shades that I believe are dupes for Kitten! You be the judge! :)

Stila, Clinique, Maybelline, MAC
Clinique's Daybreak

Maybelline's Silver Starlet
Stila's Kitten
MAC's Love Connection
Sorry about the orientation of this one, I tried to fix it but, it wouldn't work :/
No Flash

Kitten VS. Daybreak
  • Kitten obviously has flecks of glitter in it and Daybreak is just a shimmer.
  • They are similar but not an exact dupe; Kitten has a more peachy bronze tone to it.
Kitten VS. Love Connection
  • In the pan they don't look like they would even be close to the same shade, but because Love Connection is a mineralize shadow, when you mix together all the shades that are baked into that one color they come out pretty close to Kitten.
  • Love Connection leans towards being a more pinky- mauve color while Kitten is a champagne that hints at being peachy.
  • They do have the glitter aspect in common; if you were wearing Love Connection in a look instead of Kitten, someone would have to be staring at your eyes for a very, very long time to be able to tell that you weren't wearing Kitten.
Kitten VS. Silver Starlet
  • Silver Starlet is by far the closest to Kitten.
  • In certain lights it does look like it may be a bit darker.
  • Both are peachy champagne colors with glitter.
  • A bonus with Silver Starlet is that you get two colors for the price of one! I can't say I've used the blue shade (blue isn't really my color), but it does look very pretty!
  • Another bonus is that you get a Kitten-esque color at the drugstore price! How sweet is that?!
Price Differences:
  • Maybelline's Silver Starlet- $5.83
  • MAC's Love Connection- $20.00
  • Stila's Kitten- $18.00
  • Clinique's Daybreak- $15.00
